Ok, I've skimmed through the whole report (80 pages!) and didn't see anything that new or shocking.

Figure 32 (P42) "Varieties of data compromised by number of breaches and records" clearly shows the bad guys are after

Personal info (name/address/SSN etc) -- largest amount of data stolen by far
Card Data (CC #'s, expiry etc)
Credentials (passwords etc)
Bank Data (account #'s etc)

In short they're after your $$$ either directly (use CC, access bank account) or indirectly (identity theft).
