 | [BC] New Optik tv and Internet, two SSIDs now? Just got Optik tv and internet installed earlier. Under wireless setup, why is there two SSIDs now? |

 | Is it better to have both? I turned one off. Lets say my sister is downloading a lot of files and I have her on SSID #1. Would it affect my speed if I'm on SSID #2? |

 | reply to Exile4ever Main reason is some older devices don't play nice with WPA (eg. old XP machines, Nintendo DS Lite,) so you can set one to WPA/2 and one to WEP.
Or use one to be passive aggressive to your neighbours... |
