Competition. ViaSat Exede charges $8 per GB (or throttles once you hit your cap). HughesNet will be charging less per GB as well once Gen4 comes out.

Seriously, has anyone increased their overage penalties per GB on wireless internet, once they've instituted caps in the first place?
