Is the MJ+ a new unit? Have you registered it plugged into your computer. This MUST be done before it will work standalone in your router. Does it work when plugged into the USB port on your computer?
There may be some firewall settings in the router you may have o change.
Perhaps someone else can chime in who knows that router better. |

 | I bought the magicjack plus about a month ago, yes it is registered and the customer service at magicjack helped me connect it. I was asked at the time of connection did I have a router and I told them I didn't so it was connected to my laptop. Thanks 4 helping me. dianna |

 | I would try a better quality Cat 5 cables as the one which comes with the Plus is not the best and has caused SOME people problems. Also you may want to check the settings of your router to make sure you have the latest firmware. You may also want to check the firewall settings of the router and see if you can set it to a lower setting or even off. Finally if you have a setting to disable SIP ALG try setting it to disabled. Just a few things off the top of my head to try. -- Joe Sica |
