What keyboard are you using? For you fellow gamerwhat keyboard are you using?
Right now I am using a Logitech G110 and just ordered a the simple version of the Razer Blackwidow. I like the reviews and been wanting a mechanical keyboard for a long time. |

Logitech G510I've come to rely on the G-keys for playing WoW. I don't think I could do with less than the 18. Even with 18 there are times when I could use more. Switching between the three sets isn't really an option, but can come in handy if you have a different way to play a toon. |

I use the Razer Lycosa. Have been for maybe about a year now. Also have the Razer Mamba mouse and the Razer Goliathus Control Edition mouse pad. Large size edition. |

Steelseries Merc, though I purchased mine about 3 - 4 years ago when it was sold under the Ideazon brand. The "extra" keyboard section to the left had a good sized learning curve to it after using "normal" keyboards for years and years...but I don't think I could ever go back to a normal style keyboard after this.

Logitech G15 with a MX518 mouse. Same setup I've been using for several years. I accidently destroyed my original G15 with a spilled drink but was so attached to it I got another the next day... could have upgraded to something else but nah. Same with the mouse - I'll still be using these for a long while I think. |

I also have a very sleek 'n slim Olivetti KB from the same era too. It was made in Italy and still is amazingly good. I buy KB's at thrift usually, right now I have a nice low-profile "Emachines" KB0511 in black I use daily...just a nice feel to it.
It was $3 so when it dies, oh well. =) I saved the $$ for my fave thing: the CM Storm Spawn I got for $35 NIB.
That with my gel mousepad saves my ass everyday whether it's photoshop, games, surfing or just playing vids. It's even great in my XPpro VM since the settings are internal. (I set it up like months ago on a different system...it still has the settings and needs no driver in any OS. |

Re: What keyboard are you using? Some piece of crap $15 keyboard I found on sale. It blows, and not in the good way. Whichever genius decided on a blue backlight instead of red for a keyboard should be shot. |

Anyone use wireless stuff? Antonica and I are finding that our Wireless keyboard "lags" sometimes. It doesn't lag in a sense that it does it the entire time. It just has spurts where the keystrokes come in 3-4 seconds later. Really lame for gaming. Is there a way to fix this? |

Been using the Merc SteelSeries for a few years too; ergonomic and awesome for gaming; I couldn't go back, but again, I use trackballs (Microsoft Trackball Explorer) so some peeps think it's all weird...
Only thing I don't like is the "no seperate "insert, home, end, up, down, delete" buttons where you have to hit the numlock button to make it work just hate it when you use many type of programs when entering data etc |

I've been using my wired Razer Lycosa for almost a year or so. It's all black, it's illuminated blue for the keys and the media controller (top right). It also has an extra USB port, and 2 x 3.5mm inputs for headphones and microphone. I like it. The keys are nice and rubbery so your fingers don't slip. Another benefit is the driver support. With the software that comes with the Razer Lycosa you are able to remap all of the buttons to whatever you want. You can also, say, record 5 button presses to just a single key. So whenever you hit that key, it replays those 5 buttons you assigned. This is cool if you could have use for something like that. Now, it hasn't all been peaches and cream with my keyboard. I've noticed (since I've owned it) that every few weeks or so my keyboard freezes up. When playing a game, this results in my character constantly running in 1 direction with none of the other buttons working or doing anything. The only way I've found to fix it, albeit temporarily, is to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in. Other than this annoying occurance, it's been a fine keyboard for me. But if you're into pro gaming or something of that sort, I wouldn't recommend this keyboard due to this annoyance. Especially for professionals who can't afford to have random downtime (during gameplay), even if it is for just 5 seconds (a lifetime in gaming). |

I had the same exact issue in gaming with the Razer Lycosa. Out of no where I start turning and it won't stop until I either go to desktop and back into the game and sometimes I just need to unplug and replug.. It hasn't done that it quite some time now.. |

Keyboard Second edition Logitech G15 (they're on the third now IIRC) --------------- I thought I'd use the macro keys and LCD more than I do. the macro keys are only useful for disenchanting the jewelry I create from the mass gems I prospect for.
Mouse Logitech G500 mouse with the heaviest weights in it. --------------- I used a wireless Logitech mouse with a similar config for a long time but started having a few issues with it. Love the scroll wheel toggle.
Headset Logitech G35. --------------- Best one I've ever owned, bar none. I LOVE the mute button on the headset coupled with the mute when mic is flipped up. I LOVE the mute indicator on the tip of the mic. |
