said by Karl Bode:McAdam's appears to be discussing select content owners' interest in À la carte for the mobile component of VZ's pay TV offerings. Other content distributors have been attempting to push À la carte into the living room. Different business models IMO.
Of course other companies with deeper pockets (Apple) have tried and failed to convince broadcasters that they should engage in an a la carte subscription offering.
I just hope the content provider is not Byron Allen's.
I'm not sure if the customer base is going to be able to keep up with these corporate dreams.
