apcupsd "On CentOS 6.2" monitor 2 ups's

I have two separate ups's, an su700rm "serial" and a sm750xl "USB" I would like to monitor them both using one pc. I have been over and over »www.apcupsd.org/manual/manual.ht···-example with no joy. It seems to cancel out the second conf file. when I restart the service. I am just plain stuick.

I would love some feedback from other who might be doing this very thing.
