Re: Daily Loss of Internet Access No file sharing programs. There is a fair amount of auto-syncing going on, especially at night, between my 5 Apple devices and one of my networked PCs via iTunes, and these 5 devices also auto backup to the Cloud every night or so. It is perhaps coincidental that I didn't experience the internet dropouts until after Apple program revisions which enabled wifi syncing and cloud backups?
I do have an Ethernet connected file server but that is just for backing up my PCs. This has been in place for years and is not really active on a daily basis.
Latest proposed troubleshooting step from Verizon is to replace my Optical Network Terminal (ONT). That is scheduled two days from now.
