The way that I would test if OpenDNS is working as my resolver is by using a non-existing domain like nitwit.biz in my browser and see if the response opens the OpenDNS Guide -- if YES -- then that's the verification I am looking for and want.

welcome.opendns.com will test it.

since yesterday when i posted i havent had a chance to check the DNS setting after i posted. i am going to look at it today.

i am still learning how things are setup and where to go. each manuf. has their own way of doing things.
