Welcome back Rocky. I hope roll up the rim season has treated you well.

Lol... It sucked actually! Something like 4 free coffees out of 100+ cups! Thinking stock option cups should be put in the roll ups at a certain point! Hehehe....

@ JGROCKY See Profile
Yeah 2011 rim rolling netted me 8 coffee & 6 donuts.
2012 has yet to give me anything at all. But more than anything I want to win that "55" Panasonic Viera 3D Package", lady luck isn't with me. I guess I'll keep hunting til I find a worthy screen. I don't much care for the other prizes, except maybe for the Hybrid Camry, that if I'd won would just be sold off to buy the tv I want and some other shiny's for my network

LOL, you know the world has changed when the value of a good tv starts challenging the value of a car.

On that note.... Got one of those smart TVs recently.... Pretty cool!

How about a TSI Value Package Sweepsteaks featuring one of them 42" Smart TV jobbies so I can get another crack at winning one for my XBMC set, doesn't even need any speakers ffs. I'm all about eye candy. (Deafie here lol)
Cause man, I done entered 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 contests allready and no luck.

•Be a hella challenge to offer one for each POI hee hee, I'd jump a few hoops for it too I suppose as long as it was fun.

Yay! Welcome back Rocky! Great to see your post and "hear" your voice again.
Says a lot about a company when a CEO is greeted with such enthusiasm by customers on returning from time away!

No, I didn't. Honest... I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake.......

We discussed the whole Roll up to Rim scam last year in Canchat.
We figured out that individual owners were "buying" the winning cups, which would draw traffic to their stores due to all the winners.

Years ago I had a store up at Weston Rd and Finch in Toronto, Tims down the hill and we used to win all the time, all I've won this year is one coffee and that was from coffee I bought in Fergus, not in Toronto.

So it took 4 days to get rid of all the tinfoil in your office on all of your things and then once you got that off you realized that there was TP under the tin foil!! and its 2-ply to boot!

Enjoy .

Hey Rocky. Does your office look like this?

That looks like an ex-partner of my firm's desk.

Every few months when we complain to him that it doesn't look professional, he goes through everything and puts everything into a banker box, and piles the box up around his office.
Theres about 40 boxes around his office now.

It's not my desk and if it was, it would be a bit messy but not as much.

Welcome back savior of the internet.

I actually agree with the 'savior of the internet' comment cause with out TPIA's like r0cky's TekSavvy I really would be up shit's creek without a paddle and not a clue what to do except pay the extortionist price the big boys charge for service and especially bandwidth. On topic though I'm very happy to see r0cky is back at the helm, feel a lot better with him around keeping things in order and fighting for the fairness of Canadians, welcome back bro.

Appreciate the kind words but this has very much been a joint effort among many, ISPs and individuals, to have brought the market issues and efforts forward.

In the meantime... I'm glad to be back!

It's not "Rockys Teksavvy". His brother Marc is co-owner and puts a lot in himself as well. As Rocky said, joint effort. Rocky may have been the "face of TSI" for some time but let's also pay respect where it's due for his good brother too eh. They're a good team.

Edit: Oops, i used their instead of they're haha. Fixed spelling

I was more referencing CNOC, JF, Groupe Consomateur, and a host of others but yes, at the very least I'm not alone on the TSI front and neither is the ownership (George, Tacit, etc...).... Lots of good folks putting in for making tomorrow's virtual world a little better, however hard and filled with potholes it may be!

Sounds like a classic "Awww Shucks" moment to ME.

BTW, R0cky, did you read THIS thread, starting at Page 2 ?

What think ?
