Only if the Daleks can rotate the frequency of their lasers |

No freaking clue. I can access the sidebar to see the programs but neither a right click or hitting Return will actually open anything. It just switches back and forth between some open program and a black screen with something like open program icons on it. |

This might be helpful.
Shift + Command (looks like a square with 4 pig tails) + 3 is screenshot. They'll be placed on the desktop with a time stamp. |

Hmm.. doesn't really sound like Mac-like behavior. Pictures of what's on the screen would be helpful. |

I can't get it to turn on now. I didn't shut it down yesterday, just turned off the monitor, and I just turned the monitor back on and it couldn't find a signal.
How do I get the beastie out of sleep mode? |

space bar.
If that doesn't work, hold the button on the back in for about 5 seconds, give it a second, then push it again then wait for the chime. |

File > Print is pretty much universal for all apps. |

Ok, it wanted to print one contact per page so I saved it as a .pdf on the desktop instead of printing over 300 pages.
And how do I stop a print job? |

Just pull the plug on the printer at this point, to save paper and ink, and figure it out later. It depends on if there's any printer software installed. |

The printer is installed just almost out of ink. |

Make sure you're in the Finder first. Finder is like Windows Explorer. To make sure you're in Finder: Left-click on an empty part of the desktop, then press Command-N. The command key is usually located where the Windows key is on a PC keyboard.
Is there a "Home" folder on the sidebar? |

There's no user name in the sidebar and no Home in the sidebar. I'm in Finder though |

If you are in the finder, pressing command+shift+h at the same time will open the home folder. |
