| Metrocast is laying fiber in my county ... hooray! The history of cable in my small county is Adelphia, Comcast (which both did nothing for internet) Now that Metrocast has arrived they have been aggressively stringing and burying fiber here. FINALLY a company is going to pull us into the 21st century. I hope to see a REAL internet solution soon. Mathews County, VA zip 23035

| Interesting, but are we limited by the wire, or the infrastructure and caps? Right now I'm limited to about 2.3Mb upload. I'm guessing that limit is their choice, and has nothing to do with the type of wire.
Now if they would offer fiber AND higher speeds in both directions, then I'm interested. Actually I only care about the speeds, I don't care how it gets here. |
