[Exede] Ethernet Cards: Routers: Laptops

If your Ethernet Card and/or your OS is not setup to 100 mbps Full Duplex, there maybe issues with transfer rates.

I've seen transfer rates at 38.395 mbps, and have seen burst rates at 51.28 megabits per second.

If using wireless router, it would be advisable to have Wireless-N (802.11n Wi-Fi ) based routers, which have been available since 2008.

Thus, Exede users not having correct OS configurations and slower based hardware (router, NICs, older laptops) will not experience these higher speeds. I've read articles on laptop issues.

On Wildblue, I have no idea if ViaSat bumped up instantaneous download rate or burst rate.

Graph enclosed illustrates this point. On vertical column, this represents mbps sent to Exede's server, but throughput to user is less. As indicated, I've seen transfer rates at 38.395 mbps, and have seen burst rates at 51.28 megabits per second.
