I would've thought that it was obvious they didn't.

I'll bet you do! I used to go from Denver to Durango over the "Million Dollar Highway". I still can't believe 18 wheelers use that highway. Granny gear all the way up and down!

I'm thinking the antique business was pretty slow.

It's a local joke as that shack is visible from the highway. People come to town and ask "how do I get to antique shop?".

Of course all of this is to protect us, to 'save' the children.. Give me a break.. If you read between the lines about what this alien b*tch says, she is saying they need more monitoring of US Citizens.

"The recent attack in Toulouse underscores the need ... for analytical capabilities and law enforcement capabilities on the ground in every community," she added.

I remember back many years ago, friends of mine, and friends of friends, were hermetically sealing assault weapons in plastic drums packed in grease. Burying them on their land They claimed that in a few decades the govt. would turn on the people, and they'd be ready. Some of these guys were normal family men, even cops or judges, some farmers, attorneys, all walks of life kind of normal joes. SKS's brand new, imported from China, wrapped up in grease paper, you name it. I thought these guys were lunatics.

Now I am not so sure.. It might be people like that which save us all from tyranny..

Well everyone that reads or posts in this forum is already on Janet's "watchlist" (Right wing extremists that we are).

Exactly. But sad part in this story is - majority of US population is dumb enough to buy it and don't see, what is actually behind it...

She is working hard to convert our country to a police state (or, as they called, homeland secure state)...

Unfortunately, she is doing what she is directed to do. While I cannot abide by her, having had to live with her in our state before she got appointed to her now, lofty position, she is still not in charge of what she is doing in the way of conversion. Bah, humbug!

I disagree. I think she agrees, 100%, with everything she says/does.

If she didn't I'm sure she'd be "spending more time with her family".

Less rifles, more ammo. DHS and Dept of Agriculture can't be wrong.

Okay that is a shitload of ammo, I mean that just might be more ammo than has been spent during an entire Rambo movie. And that is saying something.

LMAO.

Lucky for me, my Christian Crusader buddy lives a few blocks away, thinks the govt. is going insane more and more by the day, and is stockpiling mad hardware and ammo. He said "Need some heat when SHTF, just drop by, Ok?".. Guess he has enough for all of us around here.

Fine by me.

I found out how we can conduct secure communications....

Look, three unread messages!

(I give extra-bonus irony points for the naming of the GNU IM client Pidgin, which supports gnarly encryption options)

I'm sure that's open to Pigeon in the middle attacks

And what about someone intercepting the messages using bird seed?

I'd be more worried about a deployment of Falconer Anti Pidgeon Security.
