The web site that tracks these things only give it a 13% chance of proceeding further. The House has much higher priority issues on the schedule that haven't been dealt with yet. Given this is an election year, the probability this dies at end of current Congress in December is high.

And the sharing is being mis-characterized. It is FROM the gov't to private companies - NOT the other way around. If it is to go gov to private then they dont need it. If the gov is already investigating a crime they can continue to carry that over on their investigation while involving the parties that need to be involved with pertinent information needed to investigate the crime. |
