Unable to connect to Westell 7500 in bridged mode

I recently set my Westell 7500 to bridged mode so I could run another router with DD-WRT everyting is working very well however I forgot to disable the wireless SSID on the 7500 so I have 2 wireless networks showing.

It was suggested to me that that my WW-DRT router and the 7500 are battling and that my wirless signal strength could be lowered because of it.

I cannot connect to the 7500 using 192.168.1.1 (DD-WRT is 192.168.0.1 default) I tried a wired connection directly to the 7500 and when I do ipconfig there is no gateway address listed. I would assume since I didn't change it the IP should still be default.

I'm about ready to reset the 7500 to factory default so I can redo the process again correctly.

Any thoughts?

You need to configure a static ip on the computer that is connected directly to the 7500
192.168.1.11
255.255.255.0
