I'm coming from MS Money and not trying to migrate the old data; starting fresh. Luckily I still have MS Money (dual boot XP & Ubuntu) but dislike going "back there".

Can't believe I'm this dense. I can't figure out how to enter a credit card transaction (a purchase with said credit card).

With head hung low, I thank you in advance.

I don't use it but here's the help document for it. Chapt. 6 on page 22 starts talking about adding an account for a credit card.

There's also Skrooge if you're looking for something different and might want to import your MS data which I've read it does a good job at. It should be in your distros available software to install, here's their webpage.

* Skrooge recommendation is due to your using a KDE app already and I hear lots of good things about it. There are obviously (i guess) other programs out there too.

Thanks firephoto. I hadn't seen that manual although I've repeatedly been to the site. BTW, when I re-launched kmymoney this afternoon the info that I couldn't get to stick this morning was there.

Thanks valuequest. This should be helpful if (when!) I have further issues.
