Michigan 'Plant Maintenance' again?
I noticed on the channel update list that the Michigan region is having plant maintenance done on 4/19. Wasn't this just done around two weeks ago? I'd like to know that it is, because every time I have to re-scan my QAM stations on my HTPC, I've got to re-map them to their guide listings.
On a side note, Dan, is there anything you guys can do to fix that? The channels are titled properly, but for whatever reason the channels don't correspond to any stations in the guide. It might be because Windows Media Center is expecting them to match up to a channel of some kind, but either way every single QAM station need to be manually matched up with their respective station. I've got to imagine that this is something that WOW could get worked out with Zap2it (the folks who provide the Media Center guide info), but it's something that's over my head. Either way, it's a major PITA to re-map 60something stations every time the QAM needs to be rescanned.
I believe WOW_Dan said during the previous plant maintenance their were some issues. My guess is that this one is to address those issues and complete the original planned maintenance.
There were a few issues that came up in Michigan that didn't allow for us to move every channel that was meant to be moved. There is a small handful of channels I know that still need to be moved, I don't know for sure how many. Most of them were done two weeks ago. I will try and find the list of what channels still need to be moved, I'm not sure at this time what still needs to be done.
Ah, gotcha. I'm glad that it wasn't just my imagination that this was the second time it was going down.
Any thoughts on getting the channel mappings corrected with Zap2it?
