That WAS kids entertainment, not the crap they put on TV now.
There are a few good shows now, but nothing along the lines of what we had as children.

I miss GOOD kids entertainment...
The only thing to approach, meet or exceed what we had as children were the Tiny Tune Adventures & Animaniacs.

Why were these good?
Because they had humor that worked on two levels, so the parents would enjoy it too, just like the Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons did back when we were kids.

I always enjoyed the Carol Burnett Show. Skits with Tim Conway & Harvey Korman were hilarious.

I remember an interview with Carol Burnett, and Tim and Harvey came up...
As she explained it, they shot the show twice, with two different audiences. From those two shows, they would splice together the TV show we all saw.
In the first run of the skits, Tim would do it to the script exactly.
During the second run, he would do anything he could to get Harvey to lose it, and usually did.

On December 15th (I think) our cable system will be getting The Hub and they show Animaniacs.

Always one of my favorites.

I think that may be true - but only if they drink a lot of grape juice.

His real name is Tabasco Sauce. There are also now t-shirts and xmas cards with him.
