Re: [octobabble] Hooray!!! No, I'm not. All we have had here in the District is heavy melting snow. Lots of snow coming down but just melting when it hits the ground. ZERO accumulation. SNOWMADIDNT. The only good thing is that I didn't have to put up with Al Roker or Jim Cantore setting up shop on my block.
I would have a better chance of becoming the next legendary porn star than The Snow Gurlz have of ever getting the snow thing right. They may be on lotusracer  's list because *he* got the snow.

Not that I am complaining, but we keep getting snowpocalypse forecasts, but then end up with 4" or less... it's going to be like the boy that cried wolf one of these times.
They even called off school this week and we only got 4"

Dude! They closed all the schools around the region, and the Federal and District governments today. All was had was quick-melt snow and rain.
I think Macca hacked the weather computers just to wig everyone out and cause all the hysteria. Probably hooked them up to Jonnie's Hawaiian Chair as well to disorient their CPUs so all they could output was nonsense.

Speaking of ice cream, I've had a hankering for real, guinea-made spumoni. We're going to have to work in a side trip to get some from the Italian Store over in Arlington. I suppose I'll have to get one of their pizzas as well while we're there. They are the only place in the whole area that can claim they have *THE* real NY Style pizza. Pete's Apizza is really good, too...New Haven style, though, so the crust is just a little thinner.
