Being "productive" is so over rated...

Yea it makes me look bad. They give me like 8-12 hours of work a week max so if I don't goof off it's hard to stretch it into 40 hours. No forums means I get it done faster then my boss knows I have nothing to do!

Starting tomorrow, I will have no more free time. I'll be in a fast paced restaurant kitchen cooking and feeding people.

But I'll have my iPhone to play with!

Nice menu DK. Is that the marina next to your old place?

Tell your boss to fix the weather, NY-NY?

Anyone know much about the Cape? Looking into a week-end getaway. Any thoughts on this?

Nice hopefully he knows. We'll be going up to Maine as well in July. We have a cabin in St. Albans, ME. Not sure how far it is from the highway to Boothbay but we might check out your restaurant.

What part of the Cape would you like to stay in? Lower, Middle, Upper?
I don't know if PMs work now, but try to send your e-mail addy and some basic info. How many people, ages, what you want for accommodations, activities, etc. I'll try to help.

I have a lovely beach room @ $375 a night (weekends, holiday) but I can do $125 for an off-season standard room. Beach. I can help you find a good place for less. Or more.

I took the bumpy road to Boothbat Hahbah a few years ago and missed Dominocat by an hour. The Waitrons had nothing but praise and the seafood stuffing made by him was TOP-END!

Amazing what happens when you're forced to log off, eh?

Closing is either going to be May 25th or the first week of June, depending on the seller's readiness.

I've already checked with Verizon, and FiOS is available.

Congratulations on the house!

Fios is good. But even here in Boothbay in the middle of no-where, I can get 50/5 if I wanted. I am content with 20/2.

Does this mean I'm gonna have to put up with you in Vz Fiber Optics and VZ FiOS TV now?

No Verizon FIOS here. Verizon "hung up" on Maine.
So. My options are---
1) UP TO the Maximum of 50/5 with Time Warner Cable
2) UP TO the Maximum of 15/1 with Fairpoint DSL

I love FIOS. Cable modem can get good speeds but it's shared so even if they say you have 50 you most likely don't. The line is 50 but your shared part might be 32.

The lot is only 58x83, and there's a 4 car driveway, a concrete porch, a large wood deck and a family room addition plus the house itself. There's some lawn, but it's very little. A push mower will be adequate.

A-hahahahahahahahaha back atcha! ... and thanks!

Go with a 33" wide area mower. The motor is double the power which means half the time to mow. Price wise it's like $400 for a good 21" mower or $1,000 for a 33" wide area mower. The wide area holds the value better too. I did our lawn with the 21" for the last 2 years and upgraded to the 33" this year. I've mowed the lawn 3 times now and it's way way way better! My mow time went from 3 1/2 hours to 1 hour 20 minutes.

Re: Hello!

I've had a 21" push mower for ever. It took just over a hour to cut the grass.
My mom got me a used riding mower with a 30 (something) inch deck. It now takes me just about 1/2 hour, including "weed wacking."
