C0deZer0 posted : Well, for what it's worth, the 15 levels gets you potential for A LOT of abilities early on.

Shame about the heroics and group quests though... there were definitely a lot more for the trooper/smuggler classes than there were for the Jedi classes. :(

Even so, it isn't bad. As said before, the game aces the presentation and the dialogue. The disappointing part as far as companions go is that depending on class, you can end up getting some really late in your time on the starter world. Even with the companion though, those Heroics are REALLY tough :(

That said, I've kinda got my rhythm down with the Knight -> Sentinel, and my trooper character. Smuggler -> Gunslinger has so far been interesting.

One thing I am disappointed in for the create portion... I was initially trying to make Kiave there look as close as possible to Ellen Ripley. Yet the create options have no styles for curly hair, at all... much less anything closely resembling Weaver's style for that series of movies. :hmm:
--
Because, f*ck Sony
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">

Quiklik, my dual lightsaber murder machine

Kiave, my commando gal

Trixel, my smuggler I'm working on

The only time you group in wow for instances is when running a dungeon, swtor is no better or worse in that way. Things being to easy is a different story. In swtor you have a companion helping you do everything. I think I saw that a companion would be equal to about 2/3 what a player does (maybe 3 or 4 times some players) so basically you ave tw people doing everything which tends to make thigs pretty easy. Either way people will complain. Vanillia wow was to hard so they made it easy then it was to easy. Swtor started off to easy for some people.

I took a month or so off from playing waiting on 1.3 to drop so I have been running FP's last week or so and in almost every run I have gotten a piece of gear, so I went from no tier pieces to full Columi and a Rakata chest in about a week or so and not running them everyday. Just curious or am I just REALLY lucky.....has anyone else had this experience with the new patch?

At least their LFG tool lets me not only queue for a instance in a zone (think planet in this game), but I have check boxes to queue for a specific one. It should not have been too hard for Bioware to make the LFG tool in such a manner that if I am on Balmorra lets say, I can not only queue for a group, but use a check box to specifically pick the Heroic +4, Heroic +2, etc that I am looking for.

I can understand the locking out past a certain level thing. If I didnt go to Balmorra first on my chain of story and I get there at level 25 to start out, it wont be much fun for me to run a lvl 18 quest with a bunch of lvl 18s and here I am at lvl 28. The XP and other things would be affected drastically. (And let me say, as someone who knows a bit about coding and applications, its easy to say...well make it so it matches and groups based on level. But incredibly hard and complex to actually code that in).
