I will gladly lay my head down for our King! Let me be the first to step forward, towards glorious death.
I hear my heaven will include stocked lakes, rivers, and streams where I can fish for all eternity. I will hunt with the angels, in tree stands made of polished ivory from mammoth tusks. Beer will flow freely from never ending nozzles attached to every evergreen in the forests. The sound of my children at play will forever be in my ears, and their beauty, love, and fatherly adoration will never grow old. My wife will frequent the kitchen and adjoining bedroom, in a house that never needs cleaning, which looks like a log cabin from the outside, and gigantic lodge on the inside. I will have hounds that come and go as they please; companions for walks and hunts. There will be a bar with cigars and my friends within walking distance, where country music plays and has new live singers every weekend. I will have many trucks, and lots of fun yardwork to do, but never carpentry.
For this, I gladly lay my head down for our king. May the cut be true, neither damaging my hair nor shoulders, clean through the neck like a knife through butter. |

Pulled 3 largemouth bass out of the lake, and my buddy got one brown trout. The trout was legal, but we gave it back to the lake anyway. Needed a few more to make lunch. Bass can't be removed till after trout season. Only one would have been legal anyway. They were hitting our fatheads (small minnow), and that was it. Powerbait hasn't worked all season. Think I'll be taking fatheads there from now on, and using these new wooden bobbers I found. They hit about 2-3 feet from the surface. None are feeding low yet (that's how I was rigging the past few times where I only had one or two hits). Thinking about getting a used Jon Boat (paddle only rule) so we can get out and fish the channel when the water gets warmer. The channel stays cool, and the trout congregate there. Can only get out so far with chest high waders, and since none of my buddies have them, I stick to the shore when fishing with friends and/or my children. |

Ahhhhh I'm jealous. I like feeding fish. Never had enough time to do as much of it as I wanted. |

I have a large creek off our big river about 2 miles from my house. River is one mile, but to really fish maybe 3 miles minimum. This reservoir (lake) is about 3 miles from my house. Location helps. We have a lot of places to fish and hunt in my neck of the woods. |

guess I need to place a vote... I haven't really seen anything yet, but I don't think the breadcrumbs start falling much day one... so a random spin of the wheel says:

Need more chatter. I don't see it happening. We should vote someone out hoping we hit on the assassin. And who, pray tell, is slacking the most? Yes, that is a leading question (see my vote). |
