Re: [Connection Sharing] Connect camera (on 10 IP) to NAS (on 19

NAS, router, or camera?
In the configuration of the camera?

So instead of:
\\192.x.x.156\nasname

You want:
10.x.x.x/8

Or in the 10 router, instead of camera?
From 10.x.x.x Where X is the WAN IP of 192 router
to 10.x.x.x/8 ???

Camera. Instead of \\192.x.x.156\nasname you’re going to want \\external_IP_of_internal_router\nasname.

Let me clear up a couple other things..

In the 192 router I'm forwarding port 20 & 21 to Wan IP of 192 router... 10.x.x.x
Should this remain or change to the 'base address' of the 10 router?

In the 10 router, I'm port forwarding port 20 & 21 to the IP of the Camera....

I have not set port 1023 to do anything, anywhere...

In the camera, it's pointing to \\10.x.x.x\nasname (The WAN IP of the 192 router) and the camera is set for passive ftp...

Anything need to be changed?

In the 192 router, forward the FTP ports to the IP address of the NAS unit.

In the camera, enter ONLY the WAN IP of the 192 router as the FTP destination.
