They're here...!

I finally saw a hummingbird a little while ago. I don't think he's been to the feeder yet, but it shouldn't be much longer. It also didn't look like Guzzler...this little guy was a brighter green. I don't know if the females have arrived. A buddy up around Philly has been posting pix of what seems like a flock of females swarming his feeders.

That's cool. It won't be long.

Normally the males arrive first, stake out territory and then the females come in.

I had a peak hummingbird experience this morning. I had refilled the feeder and when I went out on the patio there was one of the males looking at the hook where the feeder goes. When I got closer to the hook the little guy flew down and started drinking out of the feeder while I was holding it. No witnesses except the cat and he ain't talkin'.

Haven't got the feeded out but the columbine has been in bloom for a couple of weeks and I've seen nada....
