Here is a crazy idea...
If the metal shed is like most it has a metal frame for a floor so you can put ply wood on top for a floor. How about laying down pavers? Would that be enough weight to keep the shed down?

On a side note, I used the cork screw anchors for my metal shed when I was in phoenix AZ - one per corner. They have the same storm burst with lots of wind. The cork screw anchors held very well and never had a problem.
IMO...the weak point is not anchor but how metal shed are put together in general. I could see with a really good wind the shed coming apart at the seams and leaving the anchors behind.
If your really worried, I would put a strap over the top similar to how trailer homes are strapped down.
Yeah, thousands of flimsy fasteners.. A lot of work for very little gain. A wooden shed costs the same in materials, is sturdier and keeps its appearance longer in addition to saving you A LOT of time and work.
