4 edits | [GA] Low speed Bonaire, GA (Preferred Package) This is the third night in a row that my connection is slow and my ping is up. Might have been longer but I just noticed it. I normally get 15 mbit down but now it goes up and down between 3 and 6. My upload is actually faster than my DL .. lol
I did do speed test during the day today and it was 25 up and 10 down. This is really strange.
Have not had a problem in a very long time. Anyone else having problems in this area? Think maybe my node might finally be saturated?

Any of the Cox people reading this? any help? Most likely the downstream channel your on, is starting to get overloaded during prime time hours, causing your speed slowdowns. The solution to your problem is getting a D3 modem, seeing as you have a cox eMTA modem, which provides both internet, and phone. You might want to see if cox will swap your modem out for there Cisco D3 DPQ3212 eMTA. |

 | May want to even try a different website.
If you log in to your cox.net account there is a speed test link in there you can try. When I tried the same one you did I was only getting 16 down on my premier line. I checked a few others off different sites and never went below 65 down. |

Guess it is time to call cox support. Really dreading dealing with them, after reading all the nightmare stories about saturated nodes. |

 | One thing's for sure: They won't do anything unless you complain. If a node's oversubscribed but no one calls in, nothing changes. |
