Blew it all out and washed the keys/key tray. I just rinsed the membrane well with plain water...no soap or cleaners.

Works like new again.

As usual the logi drivers leave something to be desired and I have had to tweak stuff more than I like so probably will go with more of a plain jane unit next time.

Definitely. It allows me to type much faster, as well as have much better reactions in games. The only downside is when people are sleeping nearby :p

I use the spacesaver (renamed ultraclassic)

It's literally the same thing as the Model M, just still being made.
(I have a Model M too for comparison, I just don't have a port to plug it into which is why I needed the USB feature from Unicomp)

I thought I'd use the macro keys and LCD more than I do. the macro keys are only useful for disenchanting the jewelry I create from the mass gems I prospect for.

Best one I've ever owned, bar none. I LOVE the mute button on the headset coupled with the mute when mic is flipped up. I LOVE the mute indicator on the tip of the mic.

I like it. The keys are nice and rubbery so your fingers don't slip. Another benefit is the driver support. With the software that comes with the Razer Lycosa you are able to remap all of the buttons to whatever you want. You can also, say, record 5 button presses to just a single key. So whenever you hit that key, it replays those 5 buttons you assigned. This is cool if you could have use for something like that.

Now, it hasn't all been peaches and cream with my keyboard. I've noticed (since I've owned it) that every few weeks or so my keyboard freezes up. When playing a game, this results in my character constantly running in 1 direction with none of the other buttons working or doing anything. The only way I've found to fix it, albeit temporarily, is to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in.

Other than this annoying occurance, it's been a fine keyboard for me. But if you're into pro gaming or something of that sort, I wouldn't recommend this keyboard due to this annoyance. Especially for professionals who can't afford to have random downtime (during gameplay), even if it is for just 5 seconds (a lifetime in gaming).
