With the announcement that Verizon is going to kill Grandfathered Unlimited Plans, I think i'll be coming back to Sprint. I had Sprint/Nextel a few years ago then went to ATT for iphone then VZ.

There is nothing technically keeping them from working, however, sprint and verizon operate locked networks.
This means that since the serial number (meid) isn't on the sprint 'approved' list they won't let it on the network.
You might as well take advantage of the equipment price offset since your going to have to have a new contract with sprint after the move anyway... in other words wait for the iphone5 and pick up 3 new ones that will work on sprint's network
