There's no way it'll take EF or EF-S lenses. That would eviscerate entry-level DSLR sales and I doubt they're going after that.

If it does, however... I am absolutely buying one.

Isn't there a pellicle mirror in EVERY DSLR in the viewfinder, allowing the metering to work?

And I assume not even a optial VF of any kind no thank you...

Started a few years ago in the P&S market no optical VF just LCD impossible to see in bright sun VF

Again it will be a SLR level camera I will never buy if it has no optical VF.... no LCD cuts it in bright light... or even res that of an optical VF.

Canon just cutting cost is all it is NO BENEFIT.
