Did anyone get the internal update? It didn't offer me one.

I'm pretty sure it will...probably later today or tomorrow. (Even takes a little longer sometimes)
I've noticed my "Filehippo UDC" informs me of a new version a day or so before it's available from the program itself for some reason.
(Or before someone here tells me...thanks, jmorlan ).
Sometimes I'll download the new version and install 'over the top', and other times I just wait a day or two and it appears via the internal updater.

I'm feeling patient at the moment, so I'll wait another day or so this time. Next time? Who knows.

SAS never seems to offer updates (either program or definitions) over the weekend. I got the notice via FileHippo this morning but nothing through the SAS internal updater.

Maybe they don't work on weekends. No worries, it is a minor update.

Fwiw, there was a thread over at the SAS forums today (5-21-12), asking when this update will be available via the program.
The response from one of the "SAS CSR's"?... (That's got a nice ring to it, eh?)

The update will be available within the program soon
Heh, this one is taking longer than usual for sure, but they always show up eventually.
»forums.superantispyware. ··· v501150/

That was strange...just clicked on the link again after posting, and 'today' became 'yesterday' in a matter of seconds. lol
(Edit #2)Ahhh, ok..that's what a 4 hr time difference will do. It happended when it turned 8:00 PM here on the east coast. (But "does anbody really know what time it is? Does anybody realy care? About time?"

Whatever. It is just a minor update. We can wait. Just let us know when it is up.

Never got an internal update notice so I downloaded the full new version. It required that the old version be uninstalled first.

I wonder what is taking so long for the internal update.

I will not go through the effort of uninstalling the old version unless I can find the e-mail with my proof of purchase, etc. I hope I have that in some folder.

The new version gave me an option to update my existing installation or to re-install. I chose "update." It did not uninstall the old version, it just updated it and no re-boot was required.

Seems a couple of other people are getting a bit impatient if you check out the link I posted above again at the SAS forum. (I get a kick out of the last guy quoting the definition of "soon").
I updated just one of my machines with the full installer for the heck of it.
While not a huge pain in the neck by any means, I remember now why I prefer the internal updater. I had to go back and recheck my settings, along with some other optional 'stuff' to opt out of during the process.
The internal updater is fast and painless...think I'll wait a little longer on the other machines. This is very unusual. It's generally only a day or two at the most. Beats me.

(Edit) Yeah, there may be some diffrent options with the pay version vs the free...(I'm using the free version). And I didn't see any option to update. Simply that the old version had to be removed during the process...which was very fast.

I have some excluded folders in my settings and I would not want to have to re-enter those. Yeah, I know I can write them down and do them again, it's just that I'm lazy.

"... 03:23 PM
The changes in 5.0.1150 mainly deal with the installation process, there are no major improvements or bug fixes that require an immediate release to all users. You are not losing any efficiency by not updating to 5.0.1150 immediately. If you do want to update to 5.0.1150, you can by downloading and installing over the older version. I do not have any information on when 5.0.1150 will auto-update within the program."

I will stop worrying about it then.
