What an awesome idea.
you do know that a certifed electric meter cost $150-500+, and then meter base plus certifed installation and grounding add another $800-1000+ PLUS the local inspector charges $200-300, dontcha'?
So ComCast who charges $7 a month for a $150 or less modem, can now add a $200/Mo metering fee...just so they don't overcharge you.  |
