[IA] 2nd problem with Mediacom since signing up

Made the switch back to Mediacom since they gave me a very good price package. Just today i'm having the same problem as i did 24 hours after the techs were here to connect my phone,cable and internet service. The problem is my phone just goes dead. No green light on the RCA modem. Cable and internet still work.

The first fix was to unplug the modem and my router then plug them back in and that fixed the problem. Phone has been out since 2pm. Unplug the modem and router and everything came back online except the phone. Any other ideas I should try to get the phone working?

I really would like to learn something here by fixing the problem myself but if I can't then I can't. Glad this forum is back up and running. Thanks for your help! John
