Re: Actiontec MI424WR FIOS N Router REV. I My wireless reception on my new M1424WR Rev I is not as strong as the N router that it replaced from my cable comp. Thinking of adding some high-gain antennas to help. Any other suggestions (other than the obvious moving the router higher, etc.?) Antenna suggestions? I believe the router is only 2.4 GHz correct? |

Do a forum search on antennas. There have been a couple of threads on them. -- There are 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't.

 | I have a Rev E - would it be the router that is preventing me from seeing max internal gigabit speeds?
I'd like to upgrade to something with Wireless N as well but I would want Verizon to provide the upgrade not me buying it |

You might get them to send out a rev. F as a replacement, but that is draft 802.11n only and is not gigabit or you might get another rev. E. »Verizon Online FiOS FAQ »I want the new router model. How do I get one?
VZ will sell you you the rev. I (802.11n and gigabit). »teleproducts.verizon.com/fios/in···Products -- There are 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't.
