Davidsonville, MD | analog modem use on viatalk?
Crazy question.... I searched forums but didnt see anything.
I have the need to use an old analog modem to manage some devices out of band. At home with viatalk I can't seem to get my modem on my laptop to sync up. I dialup, modem tones start negotiating, but I can hear that things aren't going well. Eventually it gives up on trying to train/negotiate and hangs up.
Any settings or tweaks I should look to do?
Can you even use a modem over voip? |

Davidsonville, MD | after digging around and looking at fax problems I fixed my problem.. changed my codec to G711u, works great now. |
