Beef join:2012-05-16 027054 kudos:1 | [Official] Torchlight 2 Thread Got into the beta for this weekend.
Will try to post screenshots as soon as possible!
Very fast paced compared to Torchlight 1, and the open areas are awesome! |

Some outdoor shots too with my berzerker!
Note the natural elevation differences of the outside areas! |

Is TL2 still playable with just a mouse? |
|
Beef join:2012-05-16 027054 kudos:1 | You have too many abilities to just play with a mouse.
been using 1-9, F1, F2, LMB, RMB
much more variety in what your toon can do |

The graphics are great, the screenshots don't do it justice
and yes the graphics for D3 are blah, and washed out compared to this |

 Beef join:2012-05-16 027054 kudos:1 | reply to cymraeg D3 is flat
TL2 actually has hills, and a real outdoor environment
It's not so god awful linear like D3 |

That being said, I really enjoyed TL1 and will buy TL2 when it comes out. I agree with Drew, TL1 was to keep the diablo feel going it was easy to get into, offline mode etc. I will buy TL2 to check it out when it comes. -- "Do not follow where the path may lead. drewAutomaticPremium join:2002-07-10 Port Orchard, WA kudos:6 | Really, there are only two things they need to do with TL2:
1) Fix the skill trees so that you can't completely screw a build up. 2) Make it MP. |
