| [Chat] Are you a morning person or a night person? Something I've been thinking about: I am cranky in the morning, and my dearest Alain is even crankier, we're both night people, I wonder, is there hope for us, heh?
So what about you, are you one of those annoyingly cheerful morning bird song types? Or are you one of the children of the night? Or, for some miraculous reason, both?
I know coffee helps but I can't drink it most days.

Morning person, without a doubt. However, as I only sleep 6 hours a night I am not an early to bed, early to rise type.
Anne is not> a morning person...I've learned to give her a little extra space until after the first cup of coffee!

I like the morning.
I like to sit outside with a steaming cup o' Joe. Listen, and watch the critters awaken too.
I must "ease" into life, before attempting anything productive. Takes 'bout two hours, a shower, and several cups of coffee. Then I'm ready!!

Here's an example of why mornings annoy me, grrr:
I get up early, I shower, shave and you know what, and will in the shower, unbeknownst to me, I get a call to not go to work because of the weather. So I take my bus to downtown and get on the transfer bus, making it a mad dash, only to feel my phone vibrating for a different call and just then I see the message: Take the day off, cutting hours because of the weather. Blast it!
I guess now that I'm back home I will make a nice cup of coffee and watch a movie. I was hoping for good hours this week, oh well, a day off is nice too.
Mornings are like the Yankees, something I don't root for! Had a bad dream last night too (related to family squabble which has my heart in knots, though nothing to do with me).
Alain and I figure when we are finally together we'll turn into morning people because we will have a new and another day with each other.

| Now I'm in a better mood, thanks to Huevos Rancheros (Chili, picante sauce, eggs, (fake) cheese, and an English muffin rather than corn tortillas (I LOVE corn tortillas, after being married to a latina years ago, corn tortillas were a staple, but stores around here don't have the same stuff as down in TX.

Night person forced to be a morning person. I prefer to go to bed around midnight, and wake up between 8-9. Work forces me to go to bed around 10-11 and wake up between 6-7.
Give me a few days of non-work and I will be back to my go to sleep at midnight schedule.
