Unable to access HBO on CablecardLast week I called WOW and subscribed to HBO; I immediately had access to those channels on my cable box, but I didn't have access through my cablecard (Ceton Infinitv). I called WOW today and he said all they could do is "resend the signal". He did so, but it didn't help. I also reseated the cablecard, cleared the channel list, and restarted the PC to no avail. Any other ideas?

Ask them to call NOC while your in the line. Most of my cable card issues have been solved this way. The regular phone support had no clue just wanted to resend and send a tech. When you ask them to call NOC, it will probably get fixed while your on hold. 3 separate issues for me were solved this way. Everytime NOC fixed it in just a minute. |

I'm going to be ordering HBO tomorrow, (The wife needs her fix of some vampire series coming on), and a couple more HD channels coming soon I believe, since we only watch hd channels, makes it more worth it.
Should I ask them to have the noc do it or something for the cable card, Or hope for the best.
I know Dan could help if they don't get it right, but he seems quite busy, and hate bugging him again. |

Yes call in first to have it added to your account. It should work after they add it. If not do the troubleshooting with them. If it still doesnt work then I would pm WOW_Dan your info and let him work his magic. |

I know Dan could help if they don't get it right, but he seems quite busy, and hate bugging him again. It doesn't bug me, it's not a difficult fix from my side. If you have issues, let me know. If you're working with customer service on it, and the card doesn't get certain channels, ask them to do a "Refresh Services" from the billing system, and that should hopefully take care of it as well. |

Thanks Dan, It's awesome to have someone around willing to help out. You don't get that in many places.
Anyway, called this morning, The guy said it would be on in about 30 seconds, and he was right! No issues with the cable card here!
