Re: Black Screen Constantly on Samsung Box VOD/DVR Plus Playback I am aware that you can swap the box as a temporary fix but I want to make cablevision aware of this daunting problem especially since cablevision has ceased to provide the scientific atlanta boxes at the optimum stores or at most tech visits that happen. There is a major bug effecting these boxes that is not resolved by switching one Samsung Box for another like most techs tend to do. |

 | I found one workaround, if you start an on demand title using a Scientic Atlanta box and then resume the active rental on the Samsung box it works. Definitely not a solution to the problem but it works. |

 | I appreciate your info ryan2011 however I tried this temp fix that you provided and in my situation it did not work. However this is what I wanted to find out from this thread in the first place I want to see how many different scenarios of this problem there are. I don't think the operators understand that I am already in contact with the highest guy you can speak to about IO services. I want people to post in this thread so when I send him the next email I can refer him to this thread showing real customers experiencing the issues and what temporarily can fix the issue for certain customers the more info he has the quicker the fix. |

 | Ok, great keep us updated on what you find out. |
