Re: I-211M-K ONT Can't be switched over to Ethernet WAN????

Has the OP tried a different range of MoCA frequencies?

MOCA WAN operates on a 50Mhz channel (C4) centered on 1000Mhz. This can't be changed at the ONT or the Actiontec.

It seems odd for MOCA to interfere with the Ceton device.

Not necessarily. Some cable systems utilize QAM frequencies up to 1Ghz. This overlaps MOCA channel C4.

The Ceton probably was designed to be compatible with 1Ghz cable systems. If I were on a 1Ghz cable system, I'd be pretty pissed if the Ceton didn't tune frequencies from 860Mhz to 1Ghz.

I haven't used my AT in a while but I could have sworn it had an option to choose between multiple frequencies for MoCA. I know for certain my DLink MoCA adapters do.

Also my two Elite TiVos are designed to work on 1Ghz systems. But they had no issue with MoCA from the AT when I tested it.

In the Actiontec you can choose channels D1-D8 for MOCA LAN. That's not much help though if you have VZ STBs since you can't change the MOCA LAN channel in the STB.

For MOCA WAN in the Actiontec, there is a pull down for channel, but it has only one possible selection. Also, there is no way to change the MOCA WAN channel in the ONT.
