Re: Closing Day

Check your math please.

Fair enough.

Lot is a 58'x82.5' rectangle. Total lot is thus about 4,785 SF.

An acre is 43,560 SF.

4,785 / 43,560 = ~0.11.

Size (Acres) 0.52
Size (Sqr Feet) 22651 = 150 x 150 (really? Oh, I guess it is.)

I was hoping I don't mow as much as your total plot! I don't have a Great Suburban Golf Course Lawn. Part of the mowing includes the "Smokey the Squirrel Wildlife Preserve" (backyard).
My hopes were dashed...
I'd like to tear out the front weed patch and plant tobacco and hops.

Again, congratulations on your new purchase. Fuck Home Despot and the big box places. Quality and craftsmanship trump them.

I have a feeling I'll be back living on a boat sooner than I'd like

I've got a mixed earth/concrete basement, kinda chilly. I suppose I could brew beer down there. I also have space in the bar to put in a tap if I ever got that prolific. But first ... learning how to brew. :P

I have no basement. Not even a crawl space.
My house used to be a large garage. So there is only a concrete slab. The people I bought it from converted it into an unfinished house. 30,000 dollars of more work, I made it into my HOME!

A January trim of the Kitchen Herb Garden sucks.
Lawns just suck! Exclamation Point Suck!

I'd still like to trade my mower, trimmer, rakes and snow shovels for a Flame Thrower.

I'll keep the chainsaw cux it's too cool.

PLEASE tell us Frosty!
I just spent $250 on the Tree Guys. Worth every penny of Motel Hell Drama I went through to earn it. Wicked good deal!

Cut that, Cut that, Cut that, Cut that, Cut that, Cut that, and shred it and make it go away!

Much better than me on a ladder with a Saw-on-a-Stick and bringing stuff to the dump in a Buick.

Plant some tomatoes next year Frostbite. It makes it all worthwhile.

Cool. I am in the process of buying myself in Boston. Had one excepted offer that fell through after inspection. It was a poorly done flip with too many issues for the money they were asking. Been out looking with a great buyers only agent. I am looking forward to more space and a lower utility bills. Living in a nearly un insulated apt in a two family house sucks on utility bills.
