Thank you! I knew the folding would back off to allow for other tasks. Will be nice not to think about shutting the client down unless installing applications.

Does the temperature in the cabinet sound okay?

It's hard to judge by that method because the cooling fans in the case are throwing out heat from the inside and the cabinet may hold some of that. You really need to know the core temps of the CPU.

Would you suggest I try downloading that Core Temp application again later or tomorrow and see if I can get it without the friggin' toolbar? Hopefully even if it does install against my wishes, this time I'll be able to get it out because my extension list will be visible. Or is there another [free] application you'd recommend?

Give me a few to snoop around and see if I can find it without those dang toolbars. I think I saw something on that. AHH found it. Go to »www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ but underneath where is says Clicking this Download button starts InstallIQ™, which manages your installation, select more downloads and you will get the standalone program in 32 bit or 64 bit. I tested it, it's clean and comes as a zip file. That what originally I got. That installIQ is the culprit.

Got it. Thank you very much. Will close Firefox, Quit FAH, and install.

Edit: Do I need to quit FAH to install?

Not really, I never do. I only stop the gpu one for gpu drivers. Other than that, never.

Well...I just did and will reboot. Is Core Temp one of those things that need to be installed every time you look?

How DOES it look here?

I very much appreciate your help.

Please, what are these numbers in my tray with Core Temp open? There's 4 of 'em!

That's what you want, those are you core temps. You have a quad core machine. FAH is not running though.

This is the 2nd time in the past few days I haven't been able to post a graphic directly--only a link shows. Wonder what's up with that.

How's it look, please?

Looks marvelous! Those temps are fine. You will be good up 80c(conservative) I hear some say they can be a little higher but I wouldn't trust that myself.

This thread is fun!

It's having its moments. When I'm setting up something there are usually such moments.

Can't help noticing we get new members (or members update their systems) regularly without fun threads like those I need to get things done. I'm grateful for everyone's patience and help.

Thank you! Tomorrow, will look around and see what "bonus WUs" and the other bonus you refer to are.

About those bonus WUs, look here.

I was referring to this part:

Briefly summarizing our bonus formula, the bonus is applied for users who have a passkey, have successfully returned at least 10 bonus-eligible WU's, successfully return >=80% of assigned WU's, and return the WU before the preferred deadline. Bonus points do not apply to partial returns.
