| upgrading from bronze dsl service to cable service I would like to upgrade my service from bronze dsl to cable but I was told, when I emailed billing dept., that I need to pay the whole one year cable fee before I get the service but they had charged me already for almost 623.08 for the renewal of my dsl without my knowledge and when I asked them to just use the 623.08 to upgrade my service to cable, they won't let me and offer me two options.

Hi,
Please note that your DSL has been just renewed and you have paid 514.60$+108.48$.
If you want cable service you need to order and pay for it separately.
There are 2 options:
1- you can pay 35.95$*12+TAX plus 49.95$+TAX for activation fee plus 100$+TAX for modem and 9.95$+TAX for shipping fee.then when the service is activated we will cancel DSL and refund the remainder.
2-you can choose monthly cable service and pay $47.95+TAX plus 49.95$+TAX for activation fee plus 100$+TAX for modem and 9.95$+TAX for shipping fee.then when the service is activated we will cancel DSL and use the remainder for upgrading cable to yearly term and refund the rest.

 Can someone please help me with this? I don't want to pay for cable service for a month of almost 54.18 plus activation fee, cable modem, and shipping and then call them again to upgrade to yearly cable. Then I have problems in the end. |

| NO TRUST!!! I just cant understand billing dept. people are giving different information. One person had given me option to choose how to change my service to cable then all of a sudden another person will tell me the only option is to go online and pay the whole year fee.
How can I trust them to process my request when they don't have same price for the cable modem. One person said 100$ and the other 75$.
Im thinking of switching now. |

Ontario the modem is a huawei 3.0 docsis 3 and is 75.00 for 28MBPS. service and 100.00 for 18 MBPS service.
Quebec the 3.0 is 100.00 |
