Re: Solved a long term GPS problem - finally!

I've gone though about six ROMS and it is not ROM related. So far at least Maps seems to be the culprit. Deleting the Maps app corrected the problem once and deleting the Maps cache and user data has corrected the problem twice. So that is three for three. I always do a superwipe when installing a new ROM so that cleaned the Maps cache. It just took awhile to find exactly what was being deleted that corrected the problem, and I believe it is Maps.

I sent emails to HTC and Google outlining what I found. I'll be interested in hearing what they have to say.

BTW - I just found another guy who had the same problem and also found maps to be the culpert. »www.berson3.com/b3c/?p=22
