I'm still on 4x1, but only because Videotron doesn't have anything other than that in Montreal :P

Service went out this morning here in Kitchener. We went from 4x1 to 8x2. Nice to see the upgrades rolling along!

Probably won't be very long until you're upgraded to 4 upstream channel bonding.

They would have to have some areas with 8x2 or more likely 8x4 with a 200Mbps / 30 Mbps speed tier.

Likely on different nodes.

Hello neighbour. Also on 4x1 but my modem is ready for 8x4 whenever our node gets upgraded.

I am very much looking forward to the day that upstream channel bonding = more upstream speed

My walk to work brings me very close to the Kitchener POI (Rogers@ Grand Crest Pl.) and seeing all the truck rolls in the morning makes me like to think they are busy improving the network.

Indeed. But I can't complain too much, since I rarely see slowdowns here.

Yeah. I was pointing it out more to highlight the fact that Rogers doesn't seem to be upgrading the nodes in a geographical manner.

Isn't Craig Henry under RCHRD? I'm spitting distance from you near the QCH. Still 4x1 on the dreaded SMCD3GN

Nope, Craig Henry has always been part of FLFRD at least for as long as I've had cable internet, since 1998.

Here on Banner, I was on RCHRD up until about a year or so ago, when all of a sudden my tracert starting resolving to FLRFD.

I can't believe it. My node still hasn't been upgraded to support upstream bonding.

They still have until next year to get every area upgraded. We'll likely be last but that's just the way they schedule things I guess.

Feel lucky you even have a DOCSIS 3 enabled area. There are areas of Ontario/Quebec and elsewhere that are just receiving DOCSIS 3 never mind channel bonding.

Fallowfield phub (really big number Richmond Rd FLFRD) is still very much no upstream channel bonding. I'm sure that Craig Henry is Richmond Rd (small number) phub (RCHRD) Most of Nepean inside the greenbelt is fed from Richmond Rd.

Banner's west of Greenbank, so it wouldn't surprise me if they don't use Greenbank as the dividing line between RCHRD and FLFRD.

In in London I appear to have 4x1... but I am with the new 476 and it is showing 64 QAM up instead of 16 everyone else is getting. What does that mean for me?

DMC475 and I get 4x1 on Richmond Rd. POI. Live in Westboro Beach about 2 or 3 blocks from the POI itself (in the Rogers Community Access Channel Cable building I believe) in Ottawa and though I am only 4x1 I haven't had issues with speed on 28MB extreme.

Just got 4x4 (previously 4x2) on my SB6120, the max number of channels it can handle, meaning it may be even higher in my area of North Waterloo

6 38.6 MHz 42.8 dBmV 16 QAM

Seems like 2 added up channels just came into effect for me. Now, if the disconnecting issue would go away I would happy as anything.
