OZOPremium join:2003-01-17 kudos:2 | reply to chachazz v19 has broken login in single process mode. Now I can't login into my Google (or any other for that matter) account
Anybody see that too?
To launch browser in single process mode you have to add in command line this option: -single-process
Moreover, it becomes impossible to make a new post here, in BBR. I press Preview/Attach button and the next page contains no preview and no typed message in edit window... I have to post this message using the old Iron, v18.
v18 and all earlier versions work just fine here... -- Keep it simple, it'll become complex by itself... |

OZOPremium join:2003-01-17 kudos:2 | Here is more... If I run Iron v19 in single process mode, I see weird scenarios:
1. If there is no URL in command line: 1.1. I can't login and edit posts; 1.2. I can see Settings page. Example of command line:
D:\Sys\Network\Browser\Iron\IronPortable\Iron\iron.exe -single-process -user-data-dir="D:\Sys\Network\Browser\Iron\IronPortable\Profile"
2. If there is URL in command line: 2.1. I can login and adit posts; 2.2. I can't see Settings page. Example of command line:
D:\Sys\Network\Browser\Iron\IronPortable\Iron\iron.exe -single-process -user-data-dir="D:\Sys\Network\Browser\Iron\IronPortable\Profile" www.dslreports.com/forums/fav
It's clearly a new bug, that has been introduced in v19 of Iron. The same bug appears in the latest Chromium v21.0.1156.0 too :(
-- Keep it simple, it'll become complex by itself... |

ZoZ @pacbell.net | glad I don't have that problem in srware. It works great. Google chrome 21.0.1155.2 has some new issues with zooming and fonts rendering improperly, pages are ok if kept at 100% and default fonts. |

OZOPremium join:2003-01-17 kudos:2 | reply to chachazz Why it's better than, for example:
 Chromium
Warning: when you run Chromium browser don't forget to add this line into your hosts file:
127.0.0.1 clients4.google.com # block permanent TLSv1.1 (443) connection
Except for the above warning - it's the same, isn't? The only difference is - Chromium (as being a base for the Iron) is ahead in its bug fixes and development...
