Re: [CATV] cable card activation

Does Cox plan to offer cable card activation via the web?

They don't even offer D3 modem via walled garden.
my guess is probably not as they don't want to make it easy as CC is a conflict of interest as making it easy would cut into their very lucrative settop biz!

you can call and have the cable box authorized via a signal sent no human needed.

the D3 modems might have to do with ultimate needing a pro install and cox just hasn't figured out how to do it, or something else.

Some areas have done away with the install fee, others not.

as far as cablecards go, i'm not talking about tivo, i'm talking about tv's and tv cards[alternatives to coxs lucrative settop biz]
