[Other] Connecting Telus multiline to Cudatel FXO
I'm getting stressed out as I have not been able to find anyone that can answer what exactly is a Telus multiline (over line) physically? I have almost zero knowledge of telephony terms but as far as I can research a multiline is basically an analog hunt group.
We have 6 multilines, so does that mean that we have six pairs of physical lines coming into the building that normally connect into a analog PBX that does the hunting or is it one pair that goes into a pbx that has six "telephone signals" contained within it?
I ask this as we are moving to a Cudatel box that has the 4 FXO ports and have no clue how we are going to connect the multilines into the FXO ports.

The best way to figure that out would be to go and look.
You probably have six pairs feeding your current PBX, but it's also possible that you have a partial PRI if you have a fully digital system.
If you see something that looks like an Ethernet cable, good chance you're looking at a PRI.
If you aren't sure what you are looking at, photos would help us help you determine that.

We definitely do not have a PRI as I have the bill in front of me. Unfortunately I do not work out of the office with the multilines to physically look at them. We have the same multilines (but 50 of them) here in my office but the telephone system is a absolute mess and I can't figure out the archaic Nortel system.
This is mainly why I can't wait to dump all this and move to SIP but I need to be able to transition over one step at a time.
I am the same person as the first post, I didn't remember I still had a DSLreports login when I initially posted.

When I had it, we had a pair for each line. Telus handled the hunting, not the PBX. The PBX I used was not particularly sophisticated and did little more than ring when an incoming call arrived.
