What could be the issue with this? Looking to buy it..

No clue, but if you do buy it.. it is worth a shot to go to the apple store and see if they would swap it for free

Not sure, but for $54+38 shipping (what a ripoff on shipping) I wouldn't touch that.

Could have a hard drive issue, or battery issues... Not much else goes wrong with these things... It seems like it's powered up (unless the picture is of a different unit).

Either case, not worth the hassle.

Oh... Yeah that was the default gyp rate to Canada...

sounds like a drive format error that can't be fixed by restoring. Should be fixable by pulling the drive and putting it in a case, reformatting, then putting the drive back in the iPod.

Worse case, you'd have to buy a replacement drive for it.

I think I'll pass it up. This was today's impulse thought
