[connectivity] Intermittent Connectivity / Speeds dropped drasti

So I've had intermittent connectivity issues with my Verizon Dsl at least 5-6 times in the past. I spoke to them through online chat /over the phone three times within the past week, telling them the same problem and what I've already been through over the last 6 years. Everytime I had this problem fixed, I had to have a tehcnician come to my house and fiddle with the wiring in the little grey NID box and things worked great for 1-1.5/years . My main concern though, is the drastic speed decrease I'm getting. I'm paying for the 15,000 kbit/sec + package yet as of right now my down speeds keep fluctuating between 5,000 -7,000 kbit/sec. I've had the full 15k kbit/sec speeds over the last few months WITH the intermittent problem. Would anyone happen to know of a number I could call where I could possibly schedule a tech to come out without going through a massive amount of tedious, robotic, foreign commands from representatives?

Re: [connectivity] Intermittent Connectivity / Speeds dropped dr

My speeds I'm getting, even though I'm signed for the 15 mbps package. And I WAS getting my full 15 mbps in the past for a good 8 months.

Internet Status: Connected
DSL link: Connected
Speed (Down/Up): 7658 Kbits/sec by 863 Kbits/sec
Connection Type: PPP

- Also just got off the phone with the one guy and he told me we're under the 10 mbps package which I know isn't true because we specifically signed up for the 15 mbps one. And we were receiving 15 mbps speeds. Then he told me it was the higher speeds disconnecting me even though I had no problems what so ever when we first made the switch. ..So yeah...

Edit -
- Then called me back again saying they don't have on record of us ever having 15 mbps or it ever being available even though I received and paid for those speeds and I even have the chat logs saved from when we made the switched last June clearly stating the upgrade information.
